Christine Hopkins has had a lifelong love-affair with dogs and dog training.  Early in her childhood when she was unable to have pets due to frequent family moves required by her father's military career, she was the neighborhood dog walker, bather, pooper-scooper and pet sitter.  Upon finally having dogs of her own and volunteering with both bullmastiff and airedale rescue, she realized her desire to train dogs and their people full-time.  Owning and working with difficult dogs, has propelled her on a continuing journey to find successful methods of teaching people and training dogs.  This quest brought her to apprentice extensively under Martin Deeley, internationally renowned dog trainer, author and 2007 UK Gun Dog Trainer of the year. 

Martin is co-founder and  Executive Director of the International Association of Canine Professionals.  Christine is certified in Martin Deeley's E-Touch TM dog training method.  She has apprenticed extensively at Martin's training center and is the east coast associate for Martin Deeley's Florida Dog Trainer.  Christine has also trained with Marc Goldberg, acclaimed trainer from the Chicago area and is certified in Marc's Force Free TM dog training method.
